Documenting corporate events is, in part, like documenting any event or photography session. It’s about the people, and how your event makes them feel. At its core, thats what all photography is for me. Making feelings visible.
But as a business owner (and someone with deep experience in commercial and advertizing photography both in New York and in Europe) I know that you need info on the bottom line. So what you need to know about hiring Malone Portraits for your corporate event, is I will ensure that not only are the images you receive following your event professional, and gorgeous, and focused on emotion – they’ll also be practical. What to Expect
There’s a fine line to tread when capturing event photography, between “blending in with the crowd” and “snapping posed photos”. At your business event, I’ll toe that line, to make sure that you have the exact set of images you need for your advertizing and promotion purposes.
I’ll get images of real smiles, real joy, and real happiness – while also ensuring key moments at your event such as the reception of awards, or stage performances are documented for you! Because we’ll have a consultation beforehand to make sure I understand the flow of the event, you don’t have to stress the day-of, either.
Minneapolis Business Event Photography Process
Consultation
Before your event, we’ll have a consultation to talk about your hopes and dreams – the vision you have for your event, and the images we’ll capture on the day. We’ll go over all the details, so you feel 100% comfortable!
The Big Day
The day of your event, I’ll arrive, say hi, and get to work documenting the goings-on! Where needed, I’ll contribute to keeping the day moving, since some key photos might be based on specific timings.
Gallery & Printing
After your event, I’ll edit your final images, and deliver them in a gallery you can view online. But if you want, I also offer ordering appointments, if you’d like to consult on printing images for your office space or business premises!
After Your Event is Done
Event photography packages usually include a whole suite of images, that paint a picture of the day from beginning to end, and the same is true for most corporate event coverage packages. After your event, you’ll receive a gallery of carefully edited images that you can use in a variety of ways.
And if you want to use some of what was captured at your event for large scale advertizing, we can discuss commercial licensing of individual images or your full gallery. Depending on the type of event we’ve documented, we can also look at pairing you with a print provider, so that images from your event can hang on the walls at your office!

Every event is unique, so it’s fair if you have unique questions you want to ask me before you decide whether we’re going to work together. But I’ve collected some of the most common questions, to use as a starting point! If you don’t see your question asked here, don’t worry. How long can event coverage last?
As long as you need! Every event is different, just like every family is different, and at Malone Portraits I tailor every package to your specific needs.
What size images will I receive?
Great question. Your images will be available in both print and web resolutions for download after your event. However, I also offer printing services, so that you don’t have to take on any guesswork when it comes to ordering images to hang in your office or business premises!
What if I don't want my event shared online?
That is completely fine. Just let me know, and I won’t use your images on my website, social media, or advertizing. Your privacy and comfort are deeply important to me, and I will absolutely respect your wishes to keep your business’ images offline.
What if I have guests who can't be in photos?
There are a variety of reasons someone may not be allowed to appear in images, and Malone Portraits takes requests to avoid photographing specific guests very seriously. If you have a guest (or multiple!) who can’t appear in the photos from your event, just make me aware of who they are before I begin your event coverage. I’ll ensure their faces aren’t included in any final shots.
