Being a teenager is equal parts weird and wonderful, and it’s a stage in life where it’s not always easy to be yourself. The same can be said for the transition between any graduation and the workforce, or the next step in your educational path.
Whether your senior session with Malone Portraits takes place in my studio, in locations around Minneapolis, or in your home, my promise is that you’ll be able to be you, even though a camera is pointed in your direction.

Senior picture sessions can be fully focused on your senior, or can involve family, siblings, best friends, or pets! Even for in-studio sessions, your furry friends are welcome.

Senior photos can take place in my studio, at meaningful locations, or in or around your home. Meaningful locations might include your school, or campus, too!
When
Scheduling your session can take place any time in the year leading up to your graduation – or even shortly after! The summer before senior year is an ideal time.

What to Expect
When you work with Malone Portraits for your senior photography session, you don’t have to worry about stiff, awkward posing, or an uncomfortable lack of direction. I’ve spent decades now perfecting the space in between, where you feel directed, but naturally, so that your true self shines through in the final images.
You’ll never have to ask me what to do with your hands, but you also won’t feel like I’m asking you to hold robotic, unrealistic positions. And one of the side effects of this natural approach to posing, is you get the opportunity to be… well, yourself.
After Your Senior Photography Session
Whether you’re hoping to use your senior pictures to order graduation announcements, submit to the yearbook, or send to family and friends, we can hand-tailor a package of prints to go with your package.
I work with archival wuality printers, who can create a vast range of products for you, and your family. And if you’re looking to hang some of these images in your home, I’ll even come install the gallery for you!

What should I wear for my session?
The short answer? Something you love. Senior pictures are about you – they’re about waht you’ve accomplished, and the places you’re going next. So what you wear should be a reflection of who you are! But if you’re having trouble choosing, we can have a conversation about that, and I can provide support for wardrobe selection.
How much do sessions cost?
All sessions with Malone Portraits are uniquely tailored to your specific needs, and everyone needs something a little different. The best way to get a quote for your session, is to reach out, and we can have a conversation about it!
Since senior photo sessions can range from a handful of portraits in-studio, to hours-long adventures throughout Minneapolis, there are a range of prices available, to meet any need.
What size images will I receive?
Great question. Your images will be available in both print and web resolutions for download after your session. However, I also offer printing services, so that you don’t have to take on any guesswork when it comes to ordering images to hang in your home!
