The Solarium is a natural light photography studio for rent in the heart of NE Minneapolis for any event or occasion – family, newborn photos, branding sessions, boudoir photography, events, and more. Our space features 5 large South-facing windows and 2 large North-facing windows with vast amounts of light no matter the weather conditions.
Its a perfect blend of early 1900’s building mastery and decorated with updated MCM furniture. While holding all the charm of the early 1900’s there is a full list of updated office and kitchen amenities to keep your productions going smooth and your crew happy.
A Curated Indoor Space
The space is perfect for client meetings, pre production discussions, castings, and hourly or multi-day shoots.
The main feature of this lovely space is the 25’ all white shooting wall with tall 10” vintage baseboards and 2” original maple flooring. The neutral tones, vintage touches and 5 oversized south facing windows offer the warmest open airy vibes to get you up and running without the need for any additional lighting.
If you need more versatility or want to create some dramatic lighting use the 17’ Black velvet theater curtain suspended on rolling track.
Studio Rental Rate: $95/hour

Whether you need the studio for a one-hour session or all day minis marathon, we offer flexible pricing to match you and your clients’ needs. We are also happy to welcome your pets with open arms, free of any additional charges.
Please inquire about our special rates for bridal or baby showers, birthdays, and wedding-day getting ready events. Long term lease options are also available.
The full kitchen is separated by a doorway and a unique vintage pass-through window that will charm anyone who needs a little break and space to hide out.
